Cervantes Easy Green Chile Stew

Make A Quick & Easy Green Chile Stew for Family and Friends!

Ingredients --

1 1/2 lbs. Pork Loin (trimmed and cubed)

1 Small Onion, chopped

2 Tb. Cooking Oil

1 Jar Cervantes Green Chile (Medium or Hot)

4 Small Potatoes (diced)

4 Cups Water

Preparation Steps:

Cut pork into small cubes (ground beef or rotisserie chicken can be substituted for pork)

Saute meat in oil until brown. 

Add onions and potatoes.  Continue cooking until onions are translucent and potatoes begin to soften.

Add water and Cervantes Green Chile Sauce

Simmer or slow cook until potatoes are soft and meat is tender.  For an even faster version, add shredded rotisserie chicken.  No additional cooking or sauteing required with rotisserie chicken.

Serve in soup bowls with warm flour or corn tortillas

Optional:  Top your Green Chile Stew with Sharp Cheddar Cheese for a creamier stew once it melts.
